Show Notes

**Great leadership is not all about the leader**

When I asked Sir David Walker, a former Airforce General, board director and chair, and the former master of the Queen’s household “What makes a great leader?”, he immediately turned my question about great leadership to great followship.

“It’s all about good and great followers. It’s about having a good team. Sometimes the leader is a member of the team, other times the leader plays a role at the front of the team. Sometimes the leader passes the baton to someone else to lead, depending on the context” & what is needed to achieve the best for everyone.
